New Music: Kanye West & Jay-Z – H.A.M (Prod By Lex Luger)

Is it just me or is this not that good??! And has ‘Going H.A.M.’ always meant ‘going hard as a muh’f-cker‘ from when I first heard the term on Pill’s ‘Trap Goin’ Ham”?

Kanye West & Jay-Z – ‘H.A.M’ (Prod By Lex Luger) [MP3 STREAM ONLY]

Semi-related: what is that sound effect Lex Luger seems to use on every record he produces?? I think it’s the sound of the engines in the pod racers from Star Wars Ep. 1 but maybe that’s just me too??!

MP3’s: Kid Sister – Kiss Kiss Kiss (Mixtape) by Hypetrak

But not in full though! There’s only 10 out of the 13 joints on this brand new mixtape, mixed by the homie, Nick Catchdubs, in this player. See the link below for how to download the full version. For the life of me I’ve never understood why Hypebeast‘s music blog, Hypetrak (which must spend all day, e’ry day uploading tracks to Soundcloud based on the sheer insane number of tracks I see uploaded by them on the regular on my Soundcloud dashboard) can never quite manage to ever upload all the tracks for any of the mixtapes sets they upload – WTF??!

As for this mixtape, it’s fantastic. I used to clown this chick a few years back but let me clear: you need to check this – sh-t’s crazy! Not sure what changed: she got better, music changed so her brand of ‘hip hop’ is now in vogue or I got a little soft in my old age? Maybe a combination of all three although I lean towards the second theory being the most influential out of all three. I think it’s the right time for this chica to come out and finally get the proper attention and success she deserves now so don’t sleep on this.

Just throwing up some tracks I’ve missed over the last while that I think still merit attention. The lyrical theme of this song is pretty f-cking far into the red zone on the ignorant meter but as a record it’s still pretty good.

Latest track from Swizz’s Kanye-biting weekly Monster Monday track series. Haven’t dug most of them so far but this is pretty fiya!

Hit the jump for another Bawse-related track, “Pandemonium” featuring Meek Mill & Wale.
