This electronic-flavored indie music is straight Pitchfork bait, no?
“Though he might look like a “tough guy”, Andrew Caddick (aka Jeans Wilder) is really a sensitive boy. For two years now, this former associate of Nathan Williams (Wavves) in the group Fantastic Magic, has delivered tapes and vinyls (including the split-7″s with Best Coast & Jean Paul) with a collection of tracks haunted by summer.
During these two years he has also written, recorded and fictionalized this first album: Nice Trash. Pop melancholy for ghost flirts. Ten intoxicating tracks able to captivate the waves. And the memories of that day spent with you.
A new collaboration/friendship between La Station radar and Atelier Ciseaux.”

This is credited to The xx but I think this was actually a Florence + the Machine track originally, no?
I normally reserve Sundays for jazz, funk, rare-groove, reggae and other such soulful cool-out vibes but one listen to this indie-flavored joint from The Caribbean’s forthcoming Discontinued Perfume album dropping February of next year and it’s clear this fits the bill. Click play and enjoy…

“With the holidays sneaking up, The Hush Now is in the giving spirit. The Boston gents dropped a free holiday single before the Thanksgiving break, aptly titled “On Holiday.”
The track boasts a swinging Jobim-esque groove supported by a horn section that will have you hooked after the first listen. The choruses open to a gallop, with soaring vocals longing for a paradise far away from the usual holiday trappings. A place where you can drink, ‘martinis in the sun,’ and ‘Ho Ho Ho and Rum tum tum.‘”
