[MP3] Drake – How About Now

Drake How About Now artworks

Leak track from Drake‘s forthcoming next album, Views From the 6? (Although I’m pretty sure that is some fan artwork above, not official??) I’d love to meet the woman that inspired this song though. Every time the internets finds these women Drake talks about I am singularly unimpressed and I remember why I don’t really connect with his music the way most of his vast number of fans do. I identify with so little of what he talks about in his life. Then again, I guess this one went to law school so maybe this time will be different? Decent enough song though, word to Jodeci

Cats know I’ve been talking this kid up since I discovered him a few months back. He’s part of a new wave of MC from #the6ix (as the kids call the T.dot nowadays) making some real noise in the city and far beyond. This should be a really good show tonight. CLICK HERE for more details on the show.

[MP3] Big Kish – Stand For That Feat. Adrian Rezza

Big Kish Stand for That

New track from OG Toronto, now LA-based, hip-hop vet and (full disclosure), friend from high school, KISH (now going by Big Kish). I like the old school meets classic soul feel and lyrics that are actually saying something.
