Frankly, I’ve heard better from one of Toronto’s more promising new artists but maybe other will disagree?
Thanks Anupa for the heads up on this one. You might know Illangelo‘s name from his production credits on the first, seminal Weeknd House of Balloons project. Dig the London Broken Beats or West Coast Experiemental Beats scenes? Then this might be up your alley. From the History of Man album out now on Bromance Records.
I posted this before but the video just dropped so it gets the vapors re-post….
Long-time readers know I’m a big fan of Toronto MC, KJ. Here’s he keeps ’em guessing with a nice re-do of James Blake‘s “Klavierwerke” (hit the jump if you ain’t knowin’….)
Now this is f-cking cool! T.dot MC, King Reign, author of one of my favorite tracks of all time, “Guilty Party” (which I blogged waaaay back in the day) is back with a new joint that reinterprets UK new wave/post-punk outfit, XTC‘s “Dear God” for the beat on his song of the same title. Nice! Thanks to the homie, Click for the heads up in this one….
