OG readers know I’ve been a long-time supporter of the mostly Toronto-based blipster, urban alternative music & art creative collective, 88 Days of Fortune. They just a dropped a new mixtape this weekend which features TheeSatisfaction and 15 other tracks which you can listen to in full HERE. If you’re pressed for time though, just check out Spek Won‘s jazzy backpack hip hop number, “Passports & Cameras” and the 80’s flavored club R&B track “Shine” by Cyclist featuring Maiko Watson above.

This dropped a while back but I never had a chance to post it. This was the first track to drop from a compilation, the debut full length release titled Saint Heron from Solange Knowles new Saint Records label which was officially released yesterday. The comp features Sampha, Jhene Aiko, Cassie and of course, Solange who we’ve long been supporters of here at the Kitchen.
