[Music Video] Side Hustle – Second Intro

Full disclosure: Roger aka Thaddeus Clark of Side Hustle is a personal friend of mine who’s been to several parties at my house and whom I’ve hung out with besides that on many an occasion but none of that has anything to do with my unabashed endorsement for this video. This is not some over-the-top, overblown hype fest or willfully arty video like you might expect from the inflated ego and twisted mind of Kanye West. This is true art: a look at the quiet moments but the ones that change the course of your life! This is as close as a video can get to being an art-house IFC/Sundance-friendly short film and still be called hip hop. Props to Raafi Rivero for the amazing editing and direction on this clip. Masterful, beautiful….

With a borrowed accordion and a sea-blue guitar, he began captivating listeners with music that has been described as a blend of Damien Rice and Bjork.
