Two remix flips from Toronto MC, Jae Ari: one, a seemingly becoming mandatory take on Young M.A.‘s “Ooouuu”, the second a flip of Chance The Rapper‘s “No Problem” featuring Lil Wayne & 2 Chainz. What y’all think??

I don’t know nathan about this record, I just like it! It’s catchy af. I caught it on the FB page of the homie, Patrick Cornish of East Coast Digital Radio. I post enough ‘real’ sh-t, you can indulge me on this one (and a few more that might follow it, lol….)

People used to laugh at me when I said the two most influential MC’s on contemporary hip-hop were Soulja Boy and Lil B. I wonder if people looked back at the first song that went viral for Soulja Boy, “I Got Me Some Bapes” if they would agree that it’s kind of obvious now or not? Either way, here go a couple tracks from his just-released, King Soulja VI mixtape including an update on that seminal track called, “Bathing Apes.”

Excellent track from Mick Jenkins great The Healing Component album. Video is beautifully shot and powerful too. And apropos given the timing of the A Birth of a Nation film.

Here go a nice track from TDE MC, Isaiah Rashad‘s recently released The Sun’s Tirade album. Truth be told, I haven’t had a chance to get deep into the album as of yet, but this track definitely stood out!
