[News] Religious Leader Shoots 4 Year Old Boy To Death Because He Might Be Gay!

The homegirl, Hillina put me up on this story via her Facebook news feed. The video above doesn’t get into it so much but apparently this poor little child, Jadon Higganbothan was murdered because his stepfather, a nut job ‘religious’ (read, cult) leader named Peter Lucas Moses thought he might be gay.

Two thoughts: 1. will Nancy Grace give this story even 1/1000th the coverage she gave the Caylee Anthony story and 2. do people like Tim Pawlenty feel even a little guilt for not coming out (pun intended) more strongly against the ridiculous homophobia they regularly espouse in the name of maintaining their so-called conservative values? Truly sad all around.

Interesting track? ‘Socially conscious’ remake of Nicki Minaj and Eminem‘s “Roman’s Revenge” by Kitchen fave, Jasiri X on a track by white female MC named Kellee Maize who not has some spit game but is pretty easy on the eyes (haven’t heard that term in ages but someone used it describe me recently, *blush…*) and can move a little something too. Major labels, you dropped a millie on Kreayshawn – maybe this new Pittsburgh MC is worth a look?

[Event] In Toronto Sunday July 10: Celebrate My Birthday at the Ultra-Chill Rooftop Patio Party

The ‘kid’ celebrates another year of the gift of life and I’m doing it by posting up at ULTRA-CHILL aka the best rooftop patio party in Toronto and the closest thing I’ve found yet to some ole’ Ft. Green, Brooklyn vibes back in my home town. Beautiful spot, beautiful people watching, GREAT music by the homies, PauL E. Lopes and Mike Tull, celebrate my birthday? How can you say no??!
