The homegirl, Hillina put me up on this story via her Facebook news feed. The video above doesn’t get into it so much but apparently this poor little child, Jadon Higganbothan was murdered because his stepfather, a nut job ‘religious’ (read, cult) leader named Peter Lucas Moses thought he might be gay.
Two thoughts: 1. will Nancy Grace give this story even 1/1000th the coverage she gave the Caylee Anthony story and 2. do people like Tim Pawlenty feel even a little guilt for not coming out (pun intended) more strongly against the ridiculous homophobia they regularly espouse in the name of maintaining their so-called conservative values? Truly sad all around.
Wow, this makes me so sad and sick to my core. I want to go scream “See?! Do you see what homophobia gets us?! It gets toddlers shot out of paranoia!” at a so-called conservative. Urk, positively disgusting.
(I hate being so late to the party when this happens in my own state.)
