I won’t lie: I think “Check, Run It” is cool but I mostly did this post as an excuse to post that “Classic Man” track T.I. did with Jidenna which I missed posting when it dropped. That track is a SMASH! Hit the jump to hear it if you’ve been living under a rock the past few weeks and somehow missed it.
While we’re on the subject of T.I. though, does anyone know what’s good with this afternoon (?) show he’s supposedly doing at Adelaide Hall here in Toronto this Saturday (Sept. 12)?
Great one to kick of your Saturday night. Know nothing about Alesso or Two Friends (other than the latter are an LA-based duo) but trust me, this one is worth clicking on if you like well-crafted EDM-spiced pop music that’ll make you want to move. Dig it? Download it HERE

I’ve been really liking the tracks Janet Jackson has been releasing in advance of her first album (coming 10/2), Unbreakable, in seven years. She’s not trying to be too trendy or youthful. She’s got her own version of the Sade playbook down here, these are grown and sexy records with a little knock to them made the way only she (with an assist from Jam & Lewis?) can. Applaud this woman!
