If you don’t follow me or my blog on twitter, then you probably haven’t yet heard how much I love Deeply Rooted, the new album by Geto Boys legend, Scarface. In case you’ve missed it up until now, here goes a couple tracks from it. Don’t sleep, Deeply Rooted is the perfect blend of street & commercial hip-hop: Face still sounds top notch on the mic and the production is impeccable. The track, “Do What I Do” with Nas, Rozay and Z-Ro is as good as you hope it would be and the single, “Steer” is just epic! Deeply Rooted is a must check for those of you who haven’t already.
New video for the “Black Body” track from local T.dot rapper, Spek Won‘s excellent Sofa King Amazing album featuring Shi Wisdom.
