“It’s alright but it ain’t Ralph though!”
I had this on repeat for most of yesterday (had trouble uploading the artwork though hence why the post is only happening today). Was trying to check out Theophilus London‘s brand new Vibes album yesterday (which is pretty good, BTW) but was still playing just this track an hour later. Ended up dedicating it to the homegirl, Julia LeConte who posted the most beautiful news yesterday and for which this song was totally perfect! #realove
Latest track from #DK11 compilation album alum, Keita Juma featuring yet another #DK11 alum, Brendan Philip. I like the throwback hip-house vibe.
Long-time Kitchen favorites, Watch The Duck (or is it WatchTheDuck??) have been blowing the f-ck up with recent cameos on Iggy Azalea‘s The New Classic debut album and T.I.‘s just-released Paperwork album. Tip repays the favor by appearing on a track from A-town finest. What y’all think??
Latest track from local Toronto MC/Producer, Keita Juma‘s forthcoming Chaos Theory EP. Good stuff as always.
And ICYMI, check out his amazing track, “YRWEONTHISBEACH?” from the This One Goes To Eleven… compilation right over HERE.
Also previously on The Kitchen:
– Keita Juma – Ancient Body Language [MP3]
Here’s another Toronto singer. Some of you may recall hearing A l l i e (aka Allie for the less typographically pretentious) on The Kitchen from her Strange Creature EP. This time she is making a Brooklyn connect with producer, Sweater Beats on a track from his forthcoming Cloud City EP out on Oct. 28. Get the FREE download HERE.
